With over 20 years of experience teaching guitar, Josh has been shaping the next generation of musicians with a personalized, student-centered approach.

 

Since 2009, Josh has been an instructor at the Austin School of Music, tailoring lessons to each student’s unique needs. Josh specializes in a wide range of musical styles including Rock, Blues, R&B, Funk, Boogaloo, Soul Jazz and more.

As a performer, Josh is a respected figure in the Austin music scene, having played and toured with many great bands such as Robert Walter’s 20th Congress, Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio, Golden Dawn Arkestra, The Lost Counts and many others.

 

For nearly a decade, Josh has been a fixture at the Continental Club Gallery on South Congress Ave, performing every Friday and Saturday night and contributing to the city's vibrant live music culture.
