My name is Sam and I am a Brass Instructor from Castroville, Texas. I have been playing the trumpet for 10 years now and I have received my Bachelors in Music from Schreiner University where I studied under Dr. Kevin Dugat and Mr. Brandon Pauley. 

During my Collegiate time, I had the privilege of performing with the 2019 CBDNA intercollegiate ensemble in Temp, Arizona and providing solo and ensemble support for the university theater productions and campus events. Additionally, I gained experience through the performance opportunities with Kerrville's Symphony of the Hills, productions of Faures Requiem for the First Presbyterian Church of Kerrville and worked as a marching and music tech with Tivy High School where I was on staff during their 2019 area finalist achievement. 

Since graduation, I have provided private lessons and studio work for middle school and high school trumpet players in Castroville of all skill levels and introductory piano and percussion lessons for younger kiddos!

I recently moved to Austin and I am so excited to share my passion in music and helping students to find their spark. I enjoy teaching ways to build on our strengths and working constantly to push past our goals to make new ones. I build on individual strengths while also working my students up to be confident, knowledgeable musicians. I am so looking forward to building a studio with you all!
